Breakfast at the Inn

Breakfast is served anytime you like between 7:00 – 9:00 a.m….after all, this is YOUR vacation, not mine, I’m here to serve you. So start your day early or sleep in, it’s your choice.

I can accommodate a wide variety of tastes and special needs. I am a country-style cook and make every effort to use natural, organic and local products as much as possible. I make many different dishes including muffins, breads, omelets, quinoa fritters, quiches & souffles, Southwestern dishes such as Huevos Rancheros, blue corn waffles, stuffed French toast, homemade yogurt and granola, smoothies and Tofu Scramble.

Vegetarian, vegan, diabetic and gluten-free breakfasts are no problem, just let me know ahead of time.

I have 3 tables in 2 breakfast dining rooms so you can have your own table or you can join other guests for breakfast.  It’s always amazing to me how quickly people, who are often from different countries & cultures, find common ground.

Here’s a story about the magic that can happen when you eat breakfast with strangers………….

I seated two couples together one morning, a Swiss couple and an American couple.  They were happily chatting away while I was in the kitchen putting the finishing touches on their entrees when all of a sudden the room erupted in shouts of joy.  They were jumping up and hugging each other while laughing and crying.  It turns out that the American couple had been getting German Shepard puppies from a breeder in Switzerland to train as guild dogs for the blind.  They had always hoped to go to Switzerland to meet the breeders that they had become friends with by long distance.  Well, you guessed it…..the Swiss dog breeders were sitting at the table with them!!!  To me that’s the ultimate “small world” story.
