The Quilt Walk Festival commemorates the trek of seven brave men to save the new settlement of Panguitch from starving in the winter of 1864-65.

The gym at PHS is hung with quilts by locals and include many vintage and historic quilts…free admission.
See 35 colorful hot air balloons launch into the clear, cool skies over Panguitch Valley early every morning. Go out to the fields in time to help launch the balloons and you might just earn yourself a ride.
Later in the day there are vendors, bands, food trucks and a variety of activities. On Saturday evening the balloons are tethered along Main & Center streets and lit up while around them swirls a big street party with live music.

Every Summer Bryce Canyon offers a 4-day astronomy festival where amateur astronomers from the Salt Lake Astronomical Society assist Bryce Canyon’s Dark Rangers in hosting a world-class public stargazing event. This annual extravaganza offers more than just the opportunity to look through huge telescopes, also featured at each festival are:

– Green laser constellation tours
Canyon Country Complex, or the Triple C as it is known locally, is host to a myriad of activities and events. Rodeos, concerts, horse racing, equestrian competitions, sports tournaments, conventions and more are all hosted at the arena.
